Childhood to Teen Years

Born on August 22 to parents Daniel and Elese Itzler, Jesse's upbringing in Long Island shaped his free-spirited nature. His father's business in a plumbing supply house provided a backdrop for Jesse's unique childhood characterized by a love for hip hop, breakdancing, and marching to the beat of his own drum.

At 15, Jesse's fascination with music sparked, leading him to start rapping after hearing Run DMC's "It's Like That." By 21, he signed with Delicious Vinyl and released his debut album, "Thirty Footer in Your Face," under the pseudonym Jesse Jaymes. Simultaneously, he attended American University, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor's Degree, and gained recognition in the music industry with hits like "College Girls (Are Easy)" and "Shake It Like A White Girl."

Entrepreneurship Takes Root

Following college, Jesse faced challenges, even sleeping on 17 different couches between the ages of 19 and 24. An encounter at a bachelor party led to a serendipitous stay with a girl whose father was a business mogul. This connection sparked Jesse's venture into writing sports team theme songs, founding Alphabet City Sports Records, and crafting the iconic "Go NY Go" song for the New York Knicks. Alphabet City Sports Records was later sold to SFX, with a young 50 Cent interning under Jesse.

Launching Marquis Jet

At 27, a pivotal moment on a private jet inspired Jesse to launch Marquis Jet, a private jet company that achieved tremendous success. Jesse's unconventional approach, epitomized by landing his first client at a TED conference through a clever muffin purchase, propelled Marquis to generate $5 billion in seven years. Notably, 50 Cent remained loyal to Marquis, flying with them even after interning for Jesse.

Athletic Pursuits and Business Ventures

Driven by a desire for athleticism, Jesse transitioned from a sedentary lifestyle to running a 100-mile ultra-marathon, an experience that transformed his life. His exploration of sports nutrition led to a partnership with Zico Coconut Water, culminating in a lucrative sale to Coca-Cola. Notably, his collaboration and book, "Living with a Seal," detailed his life-changing encounter with David Goggins, emphasizing simplicity and resilience.
