Who/what can the piece be about?

Your commissioned art piece could be a life story celebration of you, a family member, partner, friend, couple’s journey together, pet, brand or company you’re associated with, fictional character, or anything else in between.

How much does each piece cost?

Each one-of-one commissioned art piece costs $4 per square inch and can generally be any size you'd like. The larger the art piece, the more robust and detailed it can be.

This price does not inclde printing and shipping the art piece. We can help you with printing and shipping for an extra cost or we can sed you the final raw file so you can do it yourself.

What is the size of the art piece?

Any size you want! We suggest measuring the space you'd like the art piece to be in and decide from there. The most common size ordered is 36 x 24 inches.

What is the step-by-step process?

Step 1: Tell Us Exactly What You Want

First, tell us what you want in your life story art piece. Typically, our pieces include 5-9 life “milestones” with a handful of moments/stories depicted within each one. We can illustrate them from scratch, add existing photos, or do a mix of both.

(You will be sent a form to fill out the information and/or you can schedule a call directly with us to discuss the details.)

Step 2: We Create Your Visual Love Life Story

After confirming the details of your brief and discussing the scope of the artwork, we’ll begin creating your visual love life story together. A draft sketch will be presented with two rounds of revisions allowed followed by the final version for approval.

Step 3: Receive Your Custom Art Piece

Once the final artwork is approved, we’ll help ship your life story art piece directly to you, anywhere in the world! We have partnerships with some preferred vendors, so we are happy to help with printing and shipping or you can handle this on your own as well.

How long does each order take?

Each commissioned art piece typically takes 6-8 weeks to complete the artwork (not including any delays from client approvals) including printing and shipping. We may be able to expedite your order for an additional cost.

What if I don't like my artwork?

Our process ensures that we have strong communication and full transparency throughout the time we work on your art piece. Please keep in mind that the more information, details, and references you give us, the more we'll be able to understand exactly what you want.

You will have three chances to revise the artwork at different stages of the process and suggest any changes. If by the end of all revisions, you are still not satisfied with the artwork, we are happy to issue you a 50% refund (although, so far, none of our customers have done yet).

Can my piece be minted as an NFT?

Yes, we can mint your digital art piece into an NFT* on Rarible and/or OpenSea at no extra charge, which you will be entitled to collect royalties on if it gets sold (and re-sold). For more specific details on how this works, feel free to contact us at hello[at]sagen.life
